Newly elected Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Mark Parton has spoken out, following allegations against a local childcare provider.
According to the ABC, 15 workers have resigned from the Genius Childcare centre in Gowrie, accusing their employer of delaying their pay and withholding superannuation.
In a statement, Genius acknowledged there had been a “payroll issue” caused by a “technical error which has now been resolved”.
Mr Parton told the Legislative Assembly that it’s not good enough.
