It seems Airline Passengers are having to take airlines to civil-court in a bid to secure promised compensation.

Social Media’s been lighting up with stories from passengers who’ve been delayed or subjected to flight changes… and promised some form of compensation, only to be denied later, when the airline claimed AFTER THE FACT, their staff got it wrong… reneging on the promise.

This scenario played out involving a Jetstar incident in Canberra.

Now it seems, without an Ombudsman, passengers are taking things to the extreme…  seeking action in civil court against the airline.

Qantas is one of them, others are saying it involves another low fare carrier aswell.

But when the court action begins, the airlines have suddenly paid up.
