The ACT government has released its designs for the upgrades to the Kippax, and Charnwood Group Centres.

City Services Minister, Chris Steel said the designs for Kippax are based on the master plan for the Group Centre from a number of years ago, where the government had already consulted with the public.

The community will be consulted on the newly proposed designs for the upgrades to the shopping centres.

Mr Steel said the territory government expects the matter of parking will be brought up during this process.

This has come as a part of the government’s $65 million infrastructure package, with construction already underway for the projects at the local shops at Duffy, and Campbell.
