The Canberra Liberals have expressed concern over worker safety during the restoration of the Gunghalin Leisure Centre.

It comes after dangerous silica dust particles were recorded during previous remediation works.

In the coming weeks remediation works, costing $1.5 million, are set to begin on the pool, which will see every tile removed and replaced.
