Concerns over Training Standards at Canberra Hospital

Health professions have raised concerns about training standards at Canberra Hospital as another accreditation has been revoked.

The child risk unit will be undergoing a review of its training accreditation following concerns over senior specialist shortfalls.

The training accreditation for junior doctors in the plastic surgery team has also been removed.

The AMA’s ACT president Walter Abhayaratna says it’s not an isolated case.
