Construction is set to start in September on Gungahlin’s Second College, located in Nicholls, with a $124 million investment to meet the needs of the region’s growing population.

The second college for Gungahlin is expected to open in time for Term 1 in 2029, with an initial capacity of 800 year 11 and year 12 students and the ability to expand.

The project will be all-electric and powered by solar, with state-of-the-art food technology classrooms, water-wise landscaping and active transport facilities.
