Police are refusing to comment on the actions of an officer – who tripped the alleged victim of a one-punch attack, causing him to hit his head on concrete.
The officer LIAM BROWN admitted in the A.C.T. Magistrates Court, he raised the man’s ankle, in a bid to make him fall… but denied, his actions were dangerous.
It relates to an alleged one punch attack in April 2022, in Civic.
The accused pleaded not guilty – but the behaviour of the officer, on the victim as he was getting up, were questioned in court.
The officer claims, the victim was resisting – CCTV Footage tells a different story.
A.C.T. Policing says it won’t comment on matters before the court.
The case returns to court next month.
