Cops Strike Pressure Increases

Share:

The union representing Federal Police says its members will step up their strike action, if there’s no reasonable increase in pay.

Officers aren’t accepting the 11 point 2 per cent which has been offered to public servants.

The Association President Alex Caruana says both the Attorney General and Commissioner want A-F-P members to be paid in the top 25 percentile of police officers in the country.

IF members go ahead with threats of a staged walk-out – it would bring airports to a stand-still, and affect the sitting of Federal Parliament.
