Emergency services are on scene at a crash on the Monaro Highway.

Fire and rescue assisted in removing one person from their vehicle, paramedics treated the patient on scene and transported the person to hospital as a precaution.

One southbound lane is closed on the Highway near Gilmore and drivers are being asked to avoid the area.
