Four Nomads including the National President have been arrested as part of a major joint police investigation.

Following investigations into three separate shootings in December last year, police appear to have uncovered a Nomads operation, that was allegedly using defrauded bushfire relief money to fund its drugs and weapons operation.

Three Nomads members were arrested this morning on the south coast, following yesterday’s arrest of the national president.

Police will allege they discovered the Nomads defrauded the Red Cross through its bushfire relief scheme, using the proceeds to purchase drugs for trafficking.

The alleged crimes were uncovered during multiple police raids.

As part of the investigations two cars were seized, as well as a gun, illicit drugs, jewellery and bikie paraphernalia, including patches.
