A Canberra based think-tank could change the way we use our digital wallets.

APPLE has previously told a Parliament Inquiry in Canberra – Digital wallets were the safest way to pay… and more secure than traditional methods of payment.

It’s based on a physical card, but it’s a digital reproduction on your phone – transactions are private.

Treasurer JIM CHALMERS will raise the matter in Parliament before the end of the year – with moves to make digital wallets face the same regulations as credit cards and EFTPOS transactions.
