Shane Drumgold will stay out of the spotlight, despite being due to return to the top job today, he’ll remain on holidays, with Anthony Williamson to continue acting in his place.
Mr Drumgold was seeking extended leave until the end of June, which Attorney-General Shane Rattenbury told the ABC had been approved.
He took the leave after spending a week in the witness box at the inquiry into the aborted Bruce Lehrmann trial.
