A.C.T. Doctors are ramping up their industrial action.
The Australian Salaried Medical Officers Federation has moved to make an assurance, patient care won’t be affected.
It was announced a week ago, Doctors will step away from some non-clinical duties as part of a one-hour stoppage, – but now, there’ll be further bans, including the attendance at certain non-clinical meetings.
Doctors have previously rejected an A.C.T. Government offer that the Federation says would’ve left its members 10 percent worse off.
The work bans are expected for at least a fortnight… and more action’s expected next week
