An E-Scooter rider has died in hospital following a crash with a car yesterday in Kambah.

It’s understood, the force of the crash threw the rider a substantial distance across the intersection.

The 19 year old was not wearing a helmet.

She was taken to Canberra hospital suffering serious head and leg injuries but later died in hospital.

A report will be prepared for the coroner.

The latest road death means the A.C.T. has surpassed last year’s road toll with 12 people being killed on our roads this year – the worst figure in a decade.
