Education union slams ANU over job cuts

Staff from the Australian National University College of science have slammed management for making their redundancy start at the beginning of the redeployment period, as the uni goes into its annual shut down.

The National Tertiary Education Union says with the period beginning on the 23rd of December, this means there will be almost three weeks before the uni will advertise vacancies and review applications.

The union says it makes an already difficult process, even more difficult for staff.
