Restrictions remain on egg Sales in Canberra, as authorities try to get the upper hand in the latest bird flu outbreak.

The incident management team in the A.C.T. remains in place.

The outbreak began late last month and officials remain on guard.

Some chickens have already been culled while bird owners are being encouraged to practise good biosecurity measures.

Monitoring continues and sampling will be on-going for some time with the expectation that more positive detections could happen.
