An electric motorcycle has been seized after an incident where two motorbikes were ridden through a Greenway shopping centre.

Around 8pm on June 15th, three young people entered the South Point shopping centre riding two e-motorbikes at speed, damaging the floor.

After an investigation and receiving information from the public, officers carried out a search warrant at a Gordon home earlier this week.

During the search, they identified one of the electric motorcycles believed to be used in the incident and a 15 year old boy who police believe was riding the bike.

The investigation is continuing, with officers now focusing on the second rider and motorcycle.

Police continue to seek community information about this or other illegal use of motorcycles and e-rideables in the ACT.
