Erin to Represent Dad, Jim, with Pride

It will be an emotional day, as daughter Erin Molan steps in for her late father Jim Molan in today’s Legacy Torch relay in Queanbeyan.

The relay which is celebrating 100 years of Legacy, will see a total of 34 people take part as it passes through the city of champions.

The Former Senator and Major General’s daughter says she’ll wear her fathers medals with pride.

“Filling in for him in something that he signed up for and wanted to do, and to wear his medals,” Erin said.

“It will be beautiful and emotional, I carried them at his funeral, but I’ve never worn them, so this will be special.”
