N.D.I.S. MinisterBill Shorten has praised A.C.T. Chief Minister Andrew Barr for becoming the lone surviving Australian leader from the pandemic era.

It comes after Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk stepped down this week.

After a flight into Canberra,  Mr Shorten spoke with the Capital Radio Network at Canberra Airport.

He congratulated Mr Barr saying “There was nine and now there’s one”.

“He has a longevity and he’s earned it”.

Mr Shorten wrapped up his discussion about Mr Barr saying “He’s always championing issues in Canberra”.
