A service will be held today to celebrate of the life of Senator Jim Molan.

The funeral will be held in the ANZAC Memorial Chapel of St Paul at Duntroon, here in Canberra later this morning.

Senator Molan died last week following a battle with prostate cancer.

He was 72.
