Two men will face charges over a nail gun attack in Taylor on Saturday night.

The 49-year-old man and his 20-year-old son allegedly armed themselves with a nail gun before leaving their home on McCredie street and confronting a group of people having a party in the same street.

The duo are accused of firing several nails at the group before the 49-year-old allegedly shot a 40-year-old man in the head at close range.

The Victim and the two alleged offenders had a brief struggle before they left the scene.

The alleged offenders were arrested a short time later and now face a number of charges including assault occasioning actual bodily harm, act endangering life and possessing an offensive weapon
