Almost one in 10 Canberrans are expected to be impacted when the JobKeeper wage subsidy scheme and Jobseeker supplement are wound up at the end of March.

New Treasury statistics showed 16,835 Canberrans still received the JobKeeper wage subsidy, down from 44,459 in the first phase of the payment.

If the payment is not replaced, almost $1.5 million would be lost from the ACT economy each week.
