A reminder for Canberra motorists – New road cameras are being deployed next year, aimed at catching drivers with multiple bad behaviours.

It’s part of the A.C.T.’s latest road safety action plan.

The cameras are initially to catch speeding motorists, but will eventually detect other offences – like not wearing a seatbelt or unregistered vehicles.

Fines that are generated by the new cameras , will be handed out from February next year.
