Five people are receiving treatment in hospital after a car went over the embankment at Red Hill Lookout.

Emergency services responded to the incident, which saw traffic to the area closed late yesterday afternoon.

The ESA confirmed that three of the passengers were taken to hospital in a serious condition, with two receiving minor treatment.

Police urge anyone who saw the incident to contact Crime Stoppers.
