Floriade will return to Commonwealth Park from September 12th till October 11th, with the theme Feast of Flowers.

Garden beds will draw inspiration from the colours, textures and richness of seasonal produce as well as the rituals of harvesting and feasting.

To go alongside the flower festival, there will be a program of food and wine workshops, live music, cultural performances, market stalls and family friendly activities, all set among more than one million blooms.

Floriade will also extend across the city again through Floriade Community and Floriade About Town.

Through Floriade community, hundreds of thousands of flowers will be planted in 85 locations including schools, sporting clubs, community groups and local organisations.

Funding in next week’s Budget will deliver on an election commitment, providing $749,000 over two years to expand the event from 2027, coinciding with Floriade’s 40th anniversary.
