Former  Canberra Raiders star BRETT FINCH won’t do any time behind bars –  over what a judge has described as an absurd sceme to source drugs, usig child abuse material.

 Finch appeared in a Sydney court yesterday and was facing two years behind bars.

Instead,  the judge ordered he be released with a One-Thousand dollar surety.. saying he believed  most of the offending had occurred during drug-fuelled binges

The court was told the matter relates to incidents over a two month period beginning  November 2020.

The Judge would not repeat remarks by Finch regarding the abuse teenage boys.
