PublicTransport in Canberra will remain free for the next six weeks.

Transport Canberra is upgrading its ticketing system on buses and trams.

The new MyWayPLUS validators are ready to be installed.

Bus and light rail services will continue to operate, as per normal, but the transition period means, travel is free… as the old system is removed, and the new system is brought in.

The upgrade it’s expected to take at least six weeks.
