COLES plans to stop offering free produce bag, usually used for apples, oranges, broccoli and other foods.
Customers are being urged to bring in their own reusable options instead.

If successful, the trial of Canberra stores will be rolled out across the nation.
Coles believes the initiative will reduce about 11 tonnes of plastic each year in the A.C.T.
