A Canberra woman’s refusing to allow the Bunnings Fyshwick store to host a fundraiser for an animal rescue organisation.

Kate Luke has been involved in sausage sizzles at various Canberra Bunnings outlets since 2014 which have raised thousands of dollars.

But in 2016, there was an altercation at the Fyshwick store – as the group served VEGAN sausages.

A member of staff demanded, they sell meat options…

The group packed up… but they later received an apology – with assurances Bunnings welcomes vegan offerings.

But last week, it happened again. Bunnings has again apologised, describing the incident as a “miscommunication”.
