The pay dispute between garbage truck drivers and their employer Suez has not been resolved, but the union has reported there is progress.
Meeting yesterday afternoon, the two parties discussed a new pay offer, which a Suez spokesperson described as “encouraging”.
Both sides will meet again on December 2, with a fourth week of disrupted bin collections hopefully avoided.
