Firefighters have contained a gas leak on Jaeger Circuit at Bruce.

Just after 11am this morning, firefighters were called following reports of a gas leak caused by workman using a small digger.

Firefighters used clamps to contain the leak until the gas company arrived.

Crews have departed the scene and the road has since been reopened.
