The Government will offer live music venues direct support, as they continue to recover from the global pandemic.

The $750,000 Amp It Up! fund is open to any ACT-based business or organisation to help them continue to bounce back from the impacts of the pandemic.

It will also help grow opportunities for local musicians and other artists get back on stage and give locals and visitors more live entertainment options through the year.

Venues can apply for the grant to meet 100 percent of their expected costs between June 1 and November 30 (up to $60,000) for engaging artists and techs and up to half of their marketing and promotion costs.
