The A.C.T. Government is hopeful about a new plan to introduce hundreds of apartments and parkland, for Gungahlin east.
It follows two years of community consultation of a 32-hectare site.
The area is bounded by Anthony Rolfe Avenue, Manning Clarke Crescent, Camilleri Way and Kate Crace Street.
It’ll have a mix of medium and high-density buildings, – a mix of about 350 dwellings, with 52 affordable rentals.
It’s part of the Territory’s land release program – The Government says there’ll be plenty of opportunities for locals to have their say, as part of the approvals process.
