Police have thrown the book at a woman, accused of drug driving causing a crash recently in Higgins.

The smash occurred at the interseciton of Kingsford Smith Drive and Southern Crosss Drive.

While there were no injuries, it’s alleged the driver tried to flee – running between vehicles… after being told she was arrested for drug driving.

It’s further alleged, she was already on bail for previous charges.

In court last week, we she was remanded in custody after her bail application was denied.

The 36 year old will return to court at a later date.
