Police are seeking help from the public after armed intruders targeted the wrong house in a recently robbery gone wrong in Mawson.

The home invasion happened early morning, last Thursday.

Four people wearing dark clothing, gloves and balaclavas, forced their way into the residence… claiming to be police, executing a search warrant.

A rifle, a baton, and a tyre iron were used to threaten and assault a man before demanding money and drugs… then got away with his wallet and a vehicle.

Investigators have information to suggest – the house was targeted in error.
