Canberra Hospital’s new Critical Services Building is on time and on budget, with a completion date in the middle of the year
Authorities say construction has been relatively smooth sailing for the nine-storey building…
It will significantly expand the hospital’s capacity and deliver a new Emergency Department with 12 ambulance bays.
Included are 22 operating theatres, a new medical imaging department, intensive care and acute coronary care units, – mental health short stay and day beds, and a helipad on the roof.
It’s expected to open sometime later this year…..
Construction comes to the tune of $640-million.
