The Territory Opposition plans to make an election issue out of parking problems at shops in Hughes

Disability parking, accessibility for seniors, and a pram ramp are at the centre of the issue.

Opposition City Services spokeswoman NICOLE LAWDER says she addressed the matter with the Government which promised to make corrections and upgrades by November last year.

She says the upgrades never happened.
