Police have formally identified the remains to murdered 30-year-old Samah Baker, who’s ex-partner was sentenced to up to 24 years in prison earlier this year, after being found guilty of murdering her.
Late last month, a woman located the remains in grassland off the Hume Highway, approximately 100-metres south of the Windellama Road overpass.
Police have since conducted a forensic examination and today confirmed their findings.
Samah’s family have requested privacy, in a brief statement they detailed their heartbreak, and what feels like losing Samah again.
