An Inquest into the death of five year old Canberra girl ROZALIA SPADAFORA has been told there was a series of “Missed Opportunities” to save her life.

The girl died while waiting in the Canberra Hospital emergency department.

Coroner KEN ARCHER is looking into all aspects of the tragedy…

Experts have told the inquest, the myocarditis, – which she is believed to have died from, could’ve even been diagnosed up to 12 hours earlier.

Today in court, a lawyer stated her worsening condition in the waiting room and she should’ve been seen within a 30 minute period because of her status. Instead, it was five hours later…

he also stated, test results were misinterpreted or ignored.

The inquest continues.
