A former ACT Chief Minister says the Canberra Liberals are on the right track to election in 20-24.
Former Liberal Chief Minister Gary Humphries believes the Opposition need to separate themselves from their federal counterparts in order to gain more votes.
He said, while the ACT is not the most likely of places for a Liberal government, Elizabeth Lee is on the path to victory.
Ms Lee outlined a number of priorities ahead of the 20-24 election, at the National Press Club this week, including a 100-million dollar fund for our suburbs, reversing the ban on wood fired heaters, and opening up more land for development.
Mr Humphries said Ms Lee has the ‘right approach’, in skipping ideological questions and going straight to local issues.
