Isolated Storm hits Canberra

Share:

A clean up continues after a surprise storm hit parts of Canberra…..

Worst affected areas include the Tuggeranong Valley and Weston Creek.

Power lines were brought down – in Chapman, fisher and Stirling – just to name a few.

and there were more than a 100 calls for help.

Today, less than half of those call outs were still being attended to.

EVO Energy says nearly 4,000 customers lost supply because of the storm.

Amazingly – Many other parts of Canberra received no storm activity at all.
