A Supreme court judge is reviewing the case of a man who’s accused of holding a woman at knifepoint earlier this year in Canberra.
The A.C.T. Supreme Court was told, the 42 year old chased the victim down a street in Braddon, back in May… then held her at knifepoint
She screamed for help – and three good samaritans came to her rescue.. stopping the man from getting away… even throwing a brick and a radio at the man, who’s pleaded guilty to attempted aggravated robbery.
His lawyer argued, the man has schizophrenia and religious delusions, but did not break the law when appropriately medicated.
The judge hearing the case, says it’s complex.. and has delayed sentencing.
