The proposed expansion of the Kippax Shopping Centre and residential complex is now another step closer, thanks to an agreement involving the A.C.T. Government.

The agreement involves a direct sale process for an adjoining piece of land.

The purchase involves the relocation of a section of the Holt Playing fields.

Replacement playing fields are to be built on the corner of Moyes Crescent and Starke Street.

It’s expected, the work will continue next year to finalise the sale and still requires development approval.
