Communications Minister Michelle Rowland – she says Australia post will focus more on parcel deliveries… which will become daily.
To facilitate the change, the federal government is introducing new regulations — scrapping rules which require the organisation to deliver letters daily.
Communications Minister Rowland says the average household receives just two addressed letters a week – making the current laws “burdensome”.
