The Canberra Liberals Leader Elizabeth Lee have put out their newest election commitment, as early voting opens today (Tuesday).

The party has today announced a plan for Kurrajong, which includes funding for community crime prevention grants.

Liberal Leader Elizabeth Lee said the grants will be used for projects such as security lighting, fencing, graffiti prevention and other security measures.

The party will also refurbish and re-pave Manuka, Kingston, Narrabundah and Dickson shops, build new public toilets at Downer shops, deliver a walk in centre in the Inner South and address traffic congestion and a lack of parking in areas of the inner south and inner north.

Ms Lee says this will address years of neglect from Labor and the Greens.
