The Canberra Liberals have called out the Chief Minister for his broken promises, ahead of today’s territory budget.

The Opposition have put out a substantial document, detailing every broken promise Andrew Barr has made since his first budget over a decade ago.

The 84-page document highlights 150 examples where Mr Barr failed to deliver on issues including healthcare, education and housing.

Opposition Leader Elizabeth Lee says the past decade has been a lost one, where fancy words and failed predictions disguised deliberate fiscal recklessness.

She also calls Mr Barr a politician who thought that cheap headlines were more important than solid outcomes.

She has also questioned whether the promises made today will be kept going forward.
