Locals told to keep non-urgent problems out of Canberra ED

The ACT’s emergency departments have sent out a message via social media this week to ask Canberrans to go elsewhere for non-urgent care after being slammed with patients.

In a media release from ACT Health it’s been revealed that this pressure on the departments is anticipated to continue over the coming months.

Shadow Health Minister LEANNE CASTLEY says this indicates a failure of planning and workforce management.
