Police are reminding motorbike enthusiasts to “Lock Up” as they investigate a series of thefts across the A.C.T. just in the past six months.

According to the figures, 90 motorbikes have been stolen in Canberra so far this year.

Police say – that number is on the rise.

They say bikes are often easier to steal than motor vehicles…. as most don’t have anti-theft technologies like immobilisers.

Authorities are reminding motorbike owners to step up their anti-theft measures… such as a disc brake lock.
