A lucky escape for an elderly woman whose car flipped onto its roof after a smash in Braddon.

The woman escaped serious injury in yesterday’s crash along Torrens Street.

She was taken to hospital but her injuries were not serious.

The vehicle came to a rest between two trees.

It’s thought she hit the curb and the speed was enough to throw the vehicle onto its top.
