Canberra Airport is playing host to the proto-type of the Australian made Lunar rover… also called, “THE ROOVER”
Last week, it was on-show outside Parliament House.
The ROOVER will be rolled out, when NASA lands on the moon in 2028
Lead engineer DR SARAH CANNARD says its every move will be followed by scientists, based in Perth
On the Australian Space Agency website: “NASA will launch the rover in a future Artemis mission. The Rover will support global space science and exploration goals. It will also demonstrate Australian innovations on the Moon”
The prototype is due to stay on display at Canberra airport, just after you go through security, until the end of next week.
